  • The next generation of leading academics
  • Talent based on sharing
Fostering future-oriented talents who transcend academic boundaries
Our curriculum is designed to equip students with both foundational competencies as well as specialized expertise, ensuring they are prepared to respond flexibly in the future society to come. By developing core academic disciplines and fostering talent at the forefront of innovation, we are not only meeting the demands of society but also leading innovation in science and technology.
Developing leaders with community spirit and global capabilities
We aim to nurture not only academically talented individuals but also those who will contribute to global society with a profound sense of responsibility toward the community. Through an integrative residential college experience that seamlessly blends “Living and Learning”, our students reflect deeply about diverse values and universal issues. This is part of their journey growing into global citizens who possess a deep understanding of others.

We aim to overcome the barriers between academic disciplines to foster creative future leaders in the era of great transformation. We established SNU College so that all students can develop multifaceted capabilities, regardless of their major, and we are creating the SNU Commons, an innovative future space, to re-create the center of the campus as a hub for learning and interaction.

We are actively engaged in multidisciplinary international joint research. We are establishing an integrated research platform, promoting the establishment of joint institutes with leading global universities. We are also actively participating in leading international collaborative research projects such as Horizon Europe, and operating the Future Research Committee as a comprehensive control tower for research exchange.

We are expanding our LnL program through a residential college that organically connects living and learning. It aims to create a place for holistic education where students intertwine their academic pursuits with daily life, and connect for co-development. This will help students broaden their thinking through community experiences and grow into active talents.
  • Cultural

As we live in the era of cultural power, we are building a cultural ecosystem that seamlessly integrates creators, content and space through the Institute for Culture and Arts and the reconstruction of the University Cultural Center. Based on cooperation with the local community, we are sharing the university’s cultural and artistic resources, discovering the region’s unique cultural values, and pursuing a model of coexistence.
