In the first part of this talk, I will discuss the use of realistic social media simulations to encourage bystander interventions to cyberbullying through social transparency and empathy. The second part of the talk will focus on experiential learning interventions through Social Media TestDrive, an educational program for teaching youth digital literacy and citizenship skills.
