Disseminating Research in Prestigious International Conferences and Q1 SSCI Journal Articles: How to Do High-Quality Academic Work ? Four Connected Sessions

The following sessions will be offered through Zoom, and materials will be shared during the class. To participate, you will need:

1. Access to an internet-connected device with a full-sized keyboard for fast typing.
2. A webcam and microphone (to preserve the feeling of a real class). It is very hard to teach a group of blank screens. This also limits opportunities to learn from others’ expertise.

The sessions will be led by Dr James Wood. James has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) (Qualified Teacher Status in the UK), a diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA), an MA in TESOL (distinction) and a Doctorate in Education from the UCL Institute of Education and is an active early career researcher and teacher with over 20 years teaching experience.  He has presented at over 14 international academic conferences in the last few years and has published in the 3rd highest ranked Higher Education Journal in the world. He is also a peer reviewer for Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education (3rd in Higher Education) Computers and Education (top 10 in Education), and Higher Education Research and Development (Q1).
