서울대학교

사회학과에서는 국내외 사회학계의 연구 동향을 탐색하고, 교수-대학원생 간에 학문적 대화를 촉진하고자 올해부터 매 학기 3~4회의 콜로키엄을 개최합니다. 네 번째 콜로키엄에는 미 Illinois 대학의 문은미(Eunmi Mun) 교수님을 초청해 그동안 쌓아오신 연구성과와 현재적 관심사에 대해 공유하는 시간을 마련할 예정입니다. 관심 있으신 분들의 많은 참여 바랍니다.

* 발표자 소개
Eunmi Mun is an associate professor at the School of Labor and Employment Relations at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her research investigates the impact of workplace employment practices on gender inequality. She is currently working on a comparative project to document firm-level gender inequality profiles across countries. Her research has been published in the Administrative Science Quarterly, American Sociological Review, Social Forces, and Socio-Economic Review. She has a Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University and a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from Seoul National University.
